Accounts Receivable Manager

Accounts Receivable Manager Location: Beverly Hills, CA (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite) Salary: $90,000-$110,000 (Flexibility for the right candidate) Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager with a strong background in client billbacks within a professional services environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing the full AR cycle while managing a small team in a fast‑paced, high‑growth organization. Key Responsibilities Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle, including billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations. Oversee complex client billbacks, chargebacks, reimbursable expenses, markups, credit memos, and revenue allocations. Lead and develop a team of Accounts Receivable professionals while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day operations. Review aging reports and implement collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances. Partner with client services and internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing. Monitor AR metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Support month-end close, reporting, and audit requests. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience. Prior leadership or management experience. Extensive experience with client billbacks in a professional services environment such as public relations, advertising, marketing, consulting, media, legal, or similar industries. Strong understanding of full‑cycle Accounts Receivable, including complex invoicing and collections. Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.). Experience working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. QuickBooks and/or NetSuite experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
