Key Personnel is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join a busy medical practice in the Tulsa, OK area.

Medical Receptionist Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Medical Receptionist Payrate : $16 to $18/hr, DOE

Medical Receptionist Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for ensuring smooth front-desk operations, scheduling appointments, managing patient communications, and supporting clinical staff.

Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Greet patients in a warm, professional manner and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
• Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate staff.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with billing and payment collection as needed.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support daily operations.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, forms, and reports.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.

Medical Receptionist Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical reception position
• Experience with EPIC EHR software required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical administration is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly nephrology-related, is a plus.
