Organization Critical Care Transport Job Summary Are you passionate about providing specialized care to critically ill patients in a dynamic and cutting‑edge environment? Join our team at LifeFlight’s Critical Care team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients in our state‑of‑the‑art Critical Care Ambulance. Responsibilities Collaborate with the critical care nurse partner to establish the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery while following LifeFlight protocols. Analyze comprehensive medical history information to determine care goals, transport time, and additional extenuating factors. Continuously reassess patient needs, apply appropriate interventions, and adjust care to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain thorough patient care documentation of assessment and intervention throughout the entire transport. Practice within the scope of practice as defined by the state of Tennessee and program protocols. Act as a clinical role model and resource to resolve complex situations and patient‑care issues. Participate in improvement activities and problem‑solving projects as assigned by the leadership team. Communicate safety concerns, educational needs, and deliver stellar customer service to internal and external customers. Technical Capabilities Medication Management (Advanced) Assessing, Intervening & Stabilizing Patients (Advanced) Airway Establishing (Intermediate) Critical Thinking (Advanced) Ventilator Management (Advanced) Utilize technology for EMR, radiology, pharmacy, GPS, protocols, and inventory. Maintain clinical proficiency and regulatory compliance. Participate in self and program improvement activities. Review current research to apply evidence‑based practice. Competent in documentation that meets LifeFlight standards. Effective communication to facilitate safe hand‑off at accepting facility. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED TN Critical Care Paramedic License (CCP) Valid driver's license High level of competency in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Preferred 3 years of Critical Care Paramedic experience or 5 years of Paramedic experience in a high‑volume 911 system Previous Critical Care Transport experience
