Step into an impactful role supporting student success as a contract Occupational Therapist working across multiple sites near Santa Ana and Corona, California. In this full-time opportunity, you’ll play a critical part in fostering student growth and functional independence through comprehensive school-based occupational therapy services. Your expertise in fine motor skills, teletherapy, home health, and overall healthcare knowledge will be valued as you provide tailored interventions from December through May 2027.
Your background serving school-aged children equips you to effectively support learning, participation, and well-being—whether delivering therapy in-person or virtually. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Proven experience in school settings is required
- Skillful in fine motor skills development, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies
- Experience in home health, healthcare, and teletherapy modalities beneficial
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations across multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Monitor progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide recommendations and training to teachers and families to promote student participation
- Travel between sites as part of a dedicated educational therapy team
