Leasing Consultant The Leasing Consultant is the first point of contact for all customers and plays an important role in reaching and maintaining established occupancy goals. The primary responsibility is to build rapport with prospects and residents, while ensuring the tour, application, move‑in and tenancy is consistently an excellent customer experience. Overview The Leasing Consultant is responsible for building rapport with prospects and residents, ensuring a consistently excellent tenant experience, and maintaining occupancy goals. Duties / Responsibilities Assist manager in marketing efforts, including outreach, preferred employer programs, networking, and social media campaigns. Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects and answering questions about amenities, local community and grounds. Gain familiarity with the IDM family of communities, floor plans, and availability. Highlight the community’s quality and lifestyle by focusing on amenities, location, and area. Facilitate the prospect application process by collecting information, initiating background checks, compiling files, and maintaining contact. Provide detailed move‑in information to incoming residents. Deliver a consistently high level of service to residents to exceed expectations and maintain retention. Be attentive to detail, planning, and organization skills for office activities and paperwork coordination. Assist with coordination of work orders, fulfillment of resident needs, and communication to maintenance staff and management as necessary. Skills / Abilities 1–3 years of relevant property management experience. Excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail. Basic leasing knowledge, including Fair Housing Laws. Team player, willing to provide concierge‑level customer service. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed entrepreneurial environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to work weekends. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr
