Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Demonstrated experience working with students exhibiting severe behavioral challenges
• CPI certification or familiarity with crisis prevention/intervention techniques (preferred)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with support staff, families, and administration
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student growth and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique behavioral and academic needs
• Work closely with a caseload of four students exhibiting significant behavioral concerns
• Apply evidence-based interventions and crisis management techniques to ensure a safe, supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with behavioral specialists, administrators, and other educators to address challenges and celebrate progress
• Maintain thorough records of behaviors, interventions, and student progress for regular reporting and compliance
