Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring recent Level I/II or III/IV ED experience and MA licensure.Details\n \n Adult Emergency Department setting within a very busy hospital ED with up to 120 treatment areas serving 350-440 patients per day\n Patient ratio of 1:4-5 depending on acuity\n Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 7p-7:30a, 36 hours per week\n Works 2 weekends within a 4-week schedule period\n Every other holiday required\n Floating required to Psych ED and Pedi ED (age 15+ unless previous pediatric experience)\n Travelers are not placed in trauma rooms during this assignment\n Requirements\n \n Active MA RN license required\n Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (active/unexpired)\n Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I or II ED experience, or 2+ years of recent Level III/IV ED experience\n Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks\n Must pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher\n Epic EMR experience preferred\n Previous travel assignment experience preferred\n Critical care experience preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct patient care within a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department\n Must remain on assignment through January 9, 2027\n 50-mile radius rule applies for local versus travel rate determination\n Two professional references required, including one at the manager level with a performance evaluation, with one evaluation completed within the last 12 months\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-757882.
