Account Manager

Account Manager - Landscape Charlotte, NC

Your clients know your name, and they call you first when something needs attention. This role owns a portfolio of commercial landscape accounts from the first walkthrough to the last change order. You will spend your days on properties, with clients, and alongside the crews who keep the work looking right.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for an assigned book of business and build long-term client relationships
• Walk properties regularly to assess landscape quality, spot maintenance needs, and confirm crew performance
• Identify and sell enhancement services such as mulch, seasonal plantings, tree care, hardscapes, irrigation, and fertilization
• Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals for new and existing clients
• Manage change orders from request through approval
• Work with field operations and crew supervisors to schedule services and resolve client concerns quickly
• Keep client records current, track the sales pipeline, and log notes in the CRM

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales or account management experience
• Hands-on experience with irrigation and fertilization
• Experience managing change orders
• Green industry or landscape background strongly preferred
• High school diploma required; a degree in business, horticulture, or agricultural management is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-first approach
• Working knowledge of CRM and estimating software
• Ability to walk job sites and cover uneven outdoor terrain in all kinds of weather
