About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to play a pivotal role in the legal department, with a focus on navigating the complex regulatory landscape of value-based care. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Counsel to build the legal infrastructure that supports the company's fast-growing partnerships with providers and health systems. This is a hands-on position that involves staying current on U.S. and international laws, regulations, and public policy developments, particularly in healthcare, technology, and primary care. The Deputy General Counsel will be responsible for advising the business on legal matters, managing risk, and developing processes to ensure compliance as the company expands. Applicants for the Deputy General Counsel position at the company should have a J.D. degree and at least 7 years of healthcare legal experience, with a background in regulatory matters, contracting, transactions, and/or litigation. The role requires excellent legal judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex legal topics into clear guidance for non-lawyers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building relationships, collaborating cross-functionally, and providing practical legal and strategic advice.
