Help Students Reach Their Potential TX-STAR Speech Language Services works with school districts throughout Texas to connect students with specialized speech and language support. We are currently seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for school-based opportunities in Dallas and surrounding communities. These positions are ideal for clinicians who are passionate about strengthening student communication, improving classroom participation, and helping children access their educational programs more effectively. Your Role and Responsibilities As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate communication needs and provide individualized services that support students’ academic, social, and functional development. In this role, you will: Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations using appropriate assessment tools and procedures Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and communication goals aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs Provide direct therapy in individual and small-group settings Address needs involving articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and related areas Collect and analyze progress data to guide clinical decisions and modify intervention strategies Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members Participate in ARD and IEP meetings and share evaluation findings, progress updates, and clinical recommendations Complete service logs, evaluation reports, progress notes, and other required documentation accurately and within established timelines Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices, district procedures, and special education requirements Qualifications for This Position Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field Current and active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology preferred Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, with supervision available Strong understanding of IEP procedures, special education services, and school-based clinical practices Effective written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus Work Setting and Scheduling Options School-based assignments in Dallas and nearby communities Opportunities to support students from prekindergarten through high school Flexible placement options, including: Full-time assignments Part-time schedules On-site and hybrid opportunities Placements coordinated according to your qualifications, availability, and current district needs What You Can Expect from TX-STAR Competitive compensation based on relevant professional experience Flexible scheduling opportunities Dependable bi-weekly pay A supportive and people-centered workplace culture Continued guidance from experienced program staff Employee referral bonus opportunities Professional learning and career development resources Access to an established network of school district partnerships throughout Texas Learn More About TX-STAR Since 2010, TX-STAR Speech Language Services has helped school districts across Texas connect with qualified special education and related-service professionals.
