Position Overview
\n \nA leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Quantitative Developer to support its Equity Derivatives business. This individual will work closely with trading, risk, and technology teams to develop quantitative models, pricing tools, analytics, and trading applications that support front-office activities.
\n \nThe role offers significant exposure to trading, risk management, quantitative research, and software development within a highly collaborative environment.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\nDevelop and maintain quantitative models, pricing tools, and risk analytics for Equity Derivatives products.
\nBuild and enhance trading applications and decision-support tools used by front-office teams.
\nPartner with traders and risk professionals to analyze trading performance and support daily business activities.
\nDesign and improve quantitative libraries and analytical frameworks.
\nCollaborate with technology teams to strengthen pricing and risk systems.
\nDevelop tools for market data analysis, valuation, and workflow optimization.
\nSupport production trading and risk platforms while identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
\nParticipate in global quantitative and technology initiatives.
\nRequired Qualifications
\nMaster's degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
\n5+ years of quantitative development, quantitative research, or front-office technology experience within financial markets.
\nStrong understanding of Equity Derivatives products and associated risk concepts.
\nAdvanced Python programming skills with experience developing production-quality applications.
\nExperience building pricing, analytics, or risk management solutions.
\nKnowledge of SQL, database technologies, and large-scale data environments.
\nStrong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, application design, and system architecture.
\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.
\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.

\n \nBase Salary Range: $175,000 to $200,000 plus bonus
