Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Hours/Week: 36 hours per week

Employment Type: Per diem / Contract

Licenses/Certs: Valid Ohio RN license, BLS & ACLS certifications, successful telemetry monitoring test

Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, telemetry experience required

What You'll Do

• Monitor telemetry patients and ensure vigilant observation of cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and IV therapy following hospital protocols
• Conduct patient assessments, education, and ensure comfort
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide personalized patient care
• Document clinical interventions and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record (Epic)
• Respond effectively to patient emergencies and notify physicians as necessary
• Maintain compliance with all safety and hospital policies

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Ohio RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with some telemetry monitoring background
• Ability to pass telemetry monitoring test
• Proficient in IV starts, medication administration, lab collection, and patient education
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Preferred:

• Experience working night shifts
• Prior experience at a large medical center or similar setting
