Lead Federal Cyber AppGate Engineer

Salary: $66,000 - 106,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least five years of experience in network security technologies and a range of Zero Trust Network Access solutions, including hands-on AppGate SDP implementation experience; U.S. federal government consulting experience is preferred.
• We require a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• We require at least two years of leadership or managerial experience.
• We need broad, vendor-neutral knowledge of ZTNA platforms and Software-Defined Perimeter architectures.
• We need experience designing, implementing, and administering complex, context-based access policies and segmentation strategies at enterprise scale.
• We need a strong grasp of Zero Trust principles and deployment patterns, along with familiarity with DoD frameworks, NIST 800-207, and large-scale enterprise environments.
• We need experience integrating ZTNA solutions with IAM, PAM, and ITSM systems.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, and AppGate.
• We require the ability to travel as needed to support firm engagements.
• Applicants must hold a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

• We manage and coordinate the implementation, administration, and ongoing optimization of AppGate SDP platform components in support of enterprise Zero Trust Network Access goals.
• We design and enforce dynamic, identity-based security policies, fine-grained micro-segmentation controls, and context-aware trusted access models.
• We translate complex security requirements into scalable and effective ZTNA policies across the environment.
• We lead technical workshops, requirements gathering, and workflow design to securely onboard mission applications to the ZT architecture.
• We integrate ZTNA tools, including AppGate, with IAM, PAM, and SIEM capabilities to enable end-to-end Zero Trust automation and continuous monitoring.
• We mentor a team of engineers and analysts responsible for AppGate operations.
• We develop detailed solution documentation, operational runbooks, and policy guidance, while supporting project tracking and reporting.
• We work with client stakeholders to ensure ZTNA deployments and access policies align with compliance, security, and mission requirements.
