Machine Shop ManagerDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Machine Shop Manager for a manufacturing company in Maple Lake, MN. In this leadership role, you'll oversee machine shop operations while remaining hands-on with CNC programming, machine setup, tooling, and production processes. If you enjoy leading teams, solving technical challenges, and driving quality and continuous improvement initiatives, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.Supervise daily machine shop operations and production employeesProgram, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines and machining processesDrive productivity, quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiativesTrain team members, provide technical support, and coordinate production schedulesRead and interpret blueprints, 3D models, engineering drawings, and work instructionsReport and resolve machine, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtimeOperate multiple machines and monitor production to meet delivery objectivesHigh school diploma required; college diploma preferredMinimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience requiredAt least 3 years of CNC machine setup and operation experiencePrevious leadership or supervisory experience requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsMechanical aptitude with experience using precision measuring instruments and shop toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and computer skillsProgramming and design experience preferredRotational molding experience is a plusAbility to stand, walk, and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and coldWillingness to pursue additional education and professional development opportunitiesEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
