Floating Assistant Community Manager

Community Heights at 1520 Apartments – 380 Units About the Role Floating Assistant Community Manager – supports multiple communities throughout the Houston, TX region, ensuring financial accuracy, leasing success, and exceptional resident experiences. What You’ll Do Accounting & Reporting Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports. Complete bank deposits and account reconciliations. Use Yardi or similar software for property accounting. Leasing & Customer Service Lease apartments and promote resident satisfaction. Respond promptly to resident questions and service issues. Team Support Mentor leasing team members and assist with marketing and resident retention. Collaborate with the Community Manager on property operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license required. Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience. Experience in leadership and supervising staff preferred. Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong math and accounting skills. Understanding of financial statements, budgets, and accounting information. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays. Compensation Estimated rate of pay: $26.04 – $29.12 per hour (non‑exempt).
