LOCATION: Memphis, TN

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven, high-impact Senior Business Systems Analyst to help support and manage the tactical execution for the company’s modernization, integration, and optimization strategies of core technology platforms that drive our industrial supply distribution business. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of ERP, eCommerce, CRM, business intelligence, and supply chain platforms — including the AI, machine learning, and automation capabilities increasingly embedded within them — while working with the VP of IT and Director of IT on aligning technology strategy with operational goals. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, working knowledge of applied AI/ML and data analytics, and experience in the distribution/industrial supply sector.

Platform Management & Strategy Implementation

• Serve as a technical owner for core business platforms (ERP, WMS, CRM, eCommerce, BI/analytics, EDI, etc.), including their embedded AI/ML and automation capabilities.

• Support the execution of a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business strategy, growth, and customer experience initiatives — incorporating AI and advanced analytics as core roadmap themes, not standalone initiatives.
\n
• Ensure platforms are optimized for wholesale distribution workflows, pricing models, inventory management, and order fulfillment, leveraging predictive analytics and AI-driven forecasting where applicable.
\n
• Assist in establishing governance frameworks and standard operating procedures for technology platforms, including responsible-AI use, data quality, and model oversight guidelines.
\n
• Evaluate AI/ML-enabled features and add-ons offered by existing platform vendors (ERP, CRM, BI) to identify quick-win opportunities for automation and decision support.
\n

Integration & Modernization

\n
• Support integration efforts between ERP and other platforms to enable seamless finance, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
\n
• Support modernization initiatives, including cloud migrations, vendor API coordination, and data quality improvements — the clean, connected data foundation that reliable AI/ML outputs depend on.
\n
• Partner with business units to assess and deploy automation, AI/ML, and advanced analytics — including demand forecasting, dynamic pricing support, sales and customer intelligence, and predictive maintenance — to improve efficiency and insight.
\n
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to pilot and scale AI-powered tools (e.g., GenAI copilots, intelligent document processing, conversational assistants) where they demonstrably improve efficiency or customer experience.

Operations & Reliability

• Manage daily platform operations, including system performance, uptime, and incident response, providing direct user support as required.
\n
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security, and governance requirements, including emerging data privacy and AI governance considerations.
\n
• Ensure business and operational KPIs such as order accuracy, system availability, and fulfillment cycle time, are enabled for the business using BI/AI dashboards and predictive alerts to surface risk early.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary tactical liaison with ERP, WMS, and technology vendors — including their AI/ML solution teams — for day-to-day support, SLA, integration, and enhancement efforts; support the VP of IT in negotiation of contracts and SLAs.

• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to align platform capabilities, including AI and automation features, with business needs.
\n
• Provide regular updates and reporting on platform performance, risks, and opportunities. 
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position is not currently eligible for employer-sponsored work visas.
\n
• 5+ years of IT platform (ERP, CRM, WMS, BI, etc.) support and engineering experience, ideally within the wholesale distribution or industrial supply sector.
\n
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (Epicor P21 PREFERRED), Infor, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and distribution-focused technologies (WMS, TMS, EDI, B2B eCommerce platforms).
\n
• Experience with data integration, AI connectors, APIs, and cloud environments.
\n
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and applications in business platforms (e.g., predictive analytics, demand forecasting, intelligent automation, GenAI tools), with the ability to evaluate AI-enabled vendor features for business fit.
\n
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional technology initiatives that improve operational performance and customer experience.
\n
• Excellent time management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

$90,000 - $115,000/yr
