About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to work in partnership with the Chief Commercial Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth strategy in non-semiconductor verticals and leading the development of sales capabilities within the U.S. hunter team. This role requires a proven commercial leader with a track record in both organic and inorganic sales strategy, strategic planning, competitive intelligence, M&A, and the development of integrated customer roadmaps. The VP will also be tasked with leading and developing the U.S. business development organization, creating a culture of accountability and high performance, and ensuring the team is focused on new customer acquisition and revenue growth. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced business degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years' of progressive sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience, with at least 5 years' in a leadership role. The role demands a strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships. Experience in establishing sales structures, setting performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with sales methodologies is essential. The VP will also be expected to work closely with marketing to enhance sales collateral and develop digital marketing strategies, as well as with sales operations to establish pricing strategies and commercial policies. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B industries such as logistics, supply chain, industrial services, manufacturing, or technology, and be adept at using data and technology to drive revenue growth and strategic decision-making.
