Assistant Chief Medical Dosimetrist
New York, NY | Full-Time

Salary: The annual compensation range we are targeting is $185,000 to $215,000, and the role is also eligible for a sign-on bonus. 

Overview:
Seeking an experienced Assistant Chief Medical Dosimetrist to support clinical and operational leadership in a proton therapy program. This role partners with the Chief Medical Dosimetrist to ensure high-quality treatment planning, staff mentorship, and efficient dosimetry operations while collaborating closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support oversight of dosimetry operations, workflows, and treatment planning
• Develop and deliver high-quality proton therapy treatment plans
• Mentor and train dosimetry staff and support team development
• Help implement new planning protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure safe, accurate patient treatments
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety, and HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

• BS in Physics or related field or completion of an accredited Medical Dosimetry Program
• MDCB Certification required
• 5+ years clinical dosimetry experience
• 2+ years in a senior/lead dosimetrist role
• 5+ years proton therapy planning experience
• Experience with ARIA, Eclipse, or similar TPS/EMR systems preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
