Job TitleJob SummaryThe Disney Music Group (DMG) is the music hub for TWDC, encompassing all aspects of music commercialization and marketing: recorded music (Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records), Disney Music Publishing, and Disney Concerts. DMG distributes music both physically and digitally and licenses music throughout the world in various forms of media including television, print, gaming, and consumer products.Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:Physical manufacturing process management (Invoicing, print and finished good ordering, relationship management with vendors and internal teams)Research assignments (Physical product catalog analysis)Cross team physical and digital production coverage (Cover additional operational tasks as needed, dependent heavily upon workload across the team)Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:2+ years of experience in operations, preferably in musicAbility to map out and understand downstream effects of decisionsAbility to review processes regularly and suggest improvementsWorks great under pressure and dealing with large volume and pressing timelinesStrong technical aptitude essential; knowledge of advanced Excel, and database structures preferredEfficient, excellent time-management skills; this is a FAST-PACED environmentGood interpersonal skills; very customer service focusedAttention to detail, problem solving, analytical skills and accuracy is criticalResponsive, inquisitive, thorough and patientStrong work ethicBachelor's degree preferredThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $61,800 - $79,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
