Dual Modality Ct Tech/X-ray Tech

Seeking a Dual Modality CT Tech/X-ray Tech to perform advanced imaging procedures, maintain safety protocols, and deliver excellent patient care. Responsible for ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures including CT and X-ray exams.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort, especially for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Operate imaging equipment with proficiency, maintaining equipment and supplies, and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Document procedures accurately, including patient consent, chart notes, and departmental reports.
• Observe sterile techniques and radiation safety standards during procedures.
• Address the unique needs of patients with physical challenges or hearing impairments, providing accommodations as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• NYSDOH License and ARRT certification required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing CT and X-ray imaging procedures.
• Capable of working independently without supervision.
• Familiar with PACS and electronic documentation systems.
