MRI Technologist

Location: Southampton, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days: Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Time: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description: The MRI Technologist will demonstrate proficiency in performing MRI imaging exams for patients of all ages while adhering to safety procedures. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring that sufficient diagnostic information is obtained.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and provide necessary information.
• Perform intravenous therapy, contrast selection, and injection.
• Document required information, including informed consent, as needed by the department.
• Present images to physicians for diagnosis and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
• Current ARRT/NYSDOH License required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification to perform contrast injections.
• Specialized training in MRI Technology and cross-sectional anatomy.
