Now Hiring: Data Specialist (School District Office) Location: Brea, CA 92821 Dates: ASAP - May 28, 2027 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Hours: 37.5 hours per week Compensation: $36+/hr Medical, vision, and dental benefits that are with you year-round 401(k) with employer match Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain student data within SEIS, CALPADS, and related reporting systems. Complete reconciliations, data audits, and reporting to support district compliance and operational needs. Review and validate student information systems (SIS) data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify and resolve discrepancies across databases, including certification and reporting errors. Support California Department of Education reporting requirements and data submissions. Assist with monthly student data extracts, special education framework reporting, and other district data processes. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and compliance deadlines. Collaborate with district staff to streamline data workflows and improve reporting accuracy. Requirements Minimum of 2–3 years of increasingly responsible experience working with data management and reporting systems. Experience with SEIS, CALPADS, or similar student information and special education data systems strongly preferred. Knowledge of California education data reporting requirements and compliance processes. Strong data reconciliation, auditing, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reporting. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve complex data discrepancies. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Why This Role?
