Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and customer interactions. DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 10:30 PMThur03:00 PM - 10:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrances, sales floor, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership according to post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
