Registered Nurse CVOR

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse to provide exceptional perioperative care in a surgical unit. This position involves rotating call shifts, assisting with a variety of cardiovascular surgeries, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room.
  
  
• 
  Serve as the circulator during surgeries, managing sterile processes and equipment.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to surgical team needs, ensuring smooth and efficient case flow.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all unit policies and safety protocols, including EMR documentation.
  
  
• 
  Fulfill rotating on-call duties, including one weeknight and one weekend per schedule.
  
  
• 
  Maintain flexibility and a compassionate attitude to support patient care standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current RN license with at least 2 years of cardiothoracic or cardiovascular OR experience.
  
  
• 
  Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to serve as an OR circulator with a focus on cardiovascular cases.
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  
  
• 
  Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
  
  
• 
  Willing to work rotating night and weekend call shifts.
