A well-established public accounting firm is looking for a Tax Manager to join its Commercial Tax team, supporting privately held businesses, investment structures and clients with complex partnership arrangements.

The role combines technical partnership work with direct client contact, staff management and tax planning.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage partnership-focused tax compliance engagements.
• Review complex Forms 1065 and associated Schedules K-1.
• Address partnership allocations, outside basis and capital account matters.
• Work with partnership tax provisions including Sections 704(b), 704(c) and 754.
• Review federal and multistate tax returns.
• Assist with restructuring, ownership changes and other business transactions.
• Research complex partnership tax questions.
• Manage engagement workflow and oversee junior staff.
• Work directly with clients and Partners on tax planning opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience , ideally including engagement management.
• Strong partnership taxation experience.
• Knowledge of complex pass-through structures.
• CPA or EA preferred.
• Experience reviewing returns and supervising junior staff.
• Good client relationship and communication skills.
• Ability to manage several engagements simultaneously.
