Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Wilmington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements. Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
