Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to influence young learners from ages 3 through 5th grade, working across multiple schools and collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff. With a flexible scheduling structure and strong district mentorship, you’ll have the autonomy to design your workweek and make a meaningful impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Maryland OT license required
• Background in school settings, especially with elementary-aged populations
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support teams
• Experience supporting high-level autism, students with communication needs, and those requiring behavioral interventions
• Open to considering highly qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) with strong schools experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students ages 3–5th grade
• Develop individualized therapy plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Address academic life skills, communication, and behavior challenges, with support from district specialists
• Cover several school sites as needed, details to be discussed during the interview process
• Schedule sessions based on caseload, following building administrator approval (21 hours weekly for direct services)
• Document services and maintain compliance with state, district, and federal guidelines
