Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at maximizing the client's physical abilities and overall performance.
• Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in executing the prescribed plan of care while ensuring compliance with professional standards and state regulations.
• Perform thorough evaluations using diagnostic evaluations to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities to determine the most effective therapy strategies.
• Assess home environments to recommend modifications that enhance client safety and independence during rehabilitation efforts.
• Deliver physical therapy services in the outpatient office, following physician orders and focusing on continuous patient engagement.
• Administer manual therapies and develop therapeutic exercise regimens that motivate clients towards functional independence.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices, collaborating with physicians to ensure appropriate modifications.
• Maintain detailed clinical records such as initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing insights into patient progress and collectively strategizing treatment directions with fellow professionals.
• Advise and educate clients and their families regarding therapy regimens, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants in their roles when necessary, ensuring high-quality care is maintained.
• Conduct on-site assessments to confirm the efficacy of rehabilitation strategies and evaluate community resource utilization.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support the strategic goals of the organization while enhancing client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services is on individuals recovering from surgery, trauma, or managing chronic conditions who require dedicated rehabilitation to regain mobility and function. Clients range from those needing post-operative recovery support to individuals with long-term mobility impairments. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience in physical therapy, specifically in acute or home care settings.
• Current active state licensure as a Physical Therapist and CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
