Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a precision manufacturing operation in Solon. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on keeping CNC machine tools running, reliable, and production-ready .

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and machining centers
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, motor, electronic, and control issues
Troubleshoot CNC controls, PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, servo motors, and spindle motors
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleanings, and scheduled machine service
Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
Assist with machine installations, relocations, and OEM service work
Support general facility maintenance as needed
Occasionally operate production equipment when maintenance work is caught up

What We're Looking For

Industrial maintenance experience in a CNC machine shop, tool & die, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience maintaining or repairing CNC machine tools
Working knowledge of PLCs, CNC controls, motors, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Ability to read electrical diagrams, machine manuals, and technical documentation
Self-motivated technician who can diagnose problems and work independently
