Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through initial consultations, taking detailed histories and understanding the client’s needs.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, utilizing validated assessment tools and methodologies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on skill development and emotional processing.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs and feedback.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and primary care providers, to ensure holistic client care.

• Guide clients through referral processes for additional services, ensuring they have access to a full spectrum of care when needed.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding their loved ones' challenges and creating effective management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our mental health counseling services cater to a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families facing psychological distress, emotional disturbances, and situational crises. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals affected by various conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Illinois as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A successful completion score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.

• Proficient with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to ensure efficient client management.
\n
• Familiarity with the practice standards set by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and convey client progress and needs.

• Strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity to client needs, and a collaborative spirit to work within a versatile healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• Experience managing patients with co-occurring disorders or complex behavioral health needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
