Job Description

Position Title: CNC Programmer/Operator

Wage: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm

We are looking for a motivated and dependable CNC Lathe / Swiss / Hydromat Machine Operator to join a great manufacturing team. This company is a growing precision machining operation producing high-volume, tight-tolerance components for a variety of industrial applications.


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, learning different manufacturing processes, and being part of a team that takes pride in producing quality parts.

CNC Programmer/Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate CNC lathes, Swiss-style CNC machines, Hydromat rotary transfer machines, and other production equipment.
- Load and unload machines and monitor production cycles.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Follow prints, work instructions, inspection procedures, and quality requirements.
- Make basic machine adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain part quality.
- Monitor tooling and notify appropriate personnel when tooling needs to be changed or replaced.
- Identify and report machining, tooling, or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Assist with machine setups and changeovers as skills develop.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

CNC Programmer/Operator Requirements:
- Manufacturing or machine shop experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous CNC, Swiss, Hydromat, or screw machine experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints or mechanical drawings is preferred.
- Comfortable using basic measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop additional machining skills.
