Systems Administrator

This Systems Administrator II opportunity is ideal for someone with strong Linux administration experience who enjoys working across enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery environments. The role focuses on administering and supporting Red Hat Linux systems, VMware, SAN/NAS storage solutions, OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, backup and recovery processes, and overall system performance optimization. Responsibilities include maintaining critical infrastructure, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and supporting modernization initiatives across the environment. The position requires a hands-on technical professional who can serve as a key resource for Linux and storage operations. This is a hybrid role, however, candidates should expect to be onsite five days per week during the first six months for training, onboarding, and knowledge transfer. After that initial period, the role transitions to a hybrid (3 days on-site + 2 days remote) work schedule. This is a strong opportunity to work with enterprise-level technologies in a highly available, mission-critical environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
