What You’ll Do

• Provide full-time clinical support in adult cardiothoracic surgery, including on-call coverage (approximately 1:5)
• Assist surgeons during complex procedures, such as aortic dissections and thoracic surgeries
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical equipment
• Document procedures accurately using Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with surgeons, PAs, and RNs to ensure optimal patient care
• Support patient care activities in a high-volume, fast-paced cardiothoracic unit

What You Need

• WI state license and DEA certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of cardiothoracic surgical first assist experience (for PAs)
• Comfort with complex cardiac procedures and thoracic surgeries (for MDs/DOs)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment
This position involves providing specialized cardiothoracic surgical assistance in a well-equipped unit using Epic EMR, supporting a team of surgeons, PAs, and RNs in a busy adult care setting. The schedule includes overnight shifts, with on-call duties as outlined.
