Position Details:

• Immediate need for five full-time onsite Special Education Teachers (37.5 hours/week).
• Contract runs from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027.

Classroom Assignments:

• Behavior-focused Elementary Classrooms: Candidates must be highly experienced managing significant behavioral needs, including physical aggression and elopement.
• High-Volume Learning Resource Classroom: Experience efficiently operating a classroom with an average of 43 students is essential.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education (SPED) certification/license in the state of Oregon.
• Recent, relevant experience in behavioral or high-volume LRC elementary settings.
• Required: Contact information for your three most recent supervisor references (no exceptions).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Employ positive behavioral interventions and strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation.
