Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching license/certification in Oregon
• Demonstrated experience in behavior-focused elementary classrooms; familiarity with physical aggression, elopement, and intensive interventions is essential
• Strong background running high-volume Learning Resource Classrooms (LRC), supporting an average caseload of 43 students
• Must be able to provide contact information for three most recent supervisor references—this is required for all candidates
• Skilled collaborator, communicator, and problem solver in fast-paced, inclusive educational settings

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction and individualized interventions for students in either elementary Behavior Classrooms or high-volume LRC settings
• Develop and implement IEPs, progress monitoring, and appropriate accommodations or modifications in compliance with district and state requirements
• Foster supportive, inclusive classroom communities and manage a wide array of student needs, from academic to behavioral
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain detailed documentation and rigorous data collection to inform educational decisions
