• Ensure the accuracy of results by analyzing data, troubleshooting discrepancies, and performing preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation of practices, train new staff and students, and uphold high laboratory quality standards.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment by strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hiring.
• Maintain the current certification throughout employment.
