Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with a pathway to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Necessary Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Keep your certification current throughout employment.
