We are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to help in the printing and production of client sign projects.

Responsibilities include

- setting up print and cut jobs

- maintaining printers, laminators, cutters, and routers

- cutting and assembling signs as needed

- packing, shipping, or delivering finished items

- maintaining items in the warehouse

The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, prioritize work based on business needs, and is quality focused.

Responsibilities

Set up and execute jobs as provided by designer for the targeted equipment with the proper materials.

Cut printed materials as needed either manually, using a panel saw, or using a router.

Maintain all equipment making sure printer heads are clean and all items are functioning properly.

Assemble signs as needed. This includes screwing coroplast signs onto metal stakes.

Pack up signs as needed for shipping making sure signs or products will not be damaged.

Pack up signs or products for delivery and deliver them to client locations.

Make sure all products meet the clients standards for quality and consistency.

Maintain items in the warehouse and notify team members when we are running low on inventory.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Production Assistant or similar role.

Proficiency in running jobs on printers, cutters, laminators, or routers.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Understanding of production processes and materials used in sign creation.

Must be able to pass a background check and have a good driving record.

Additional Information

Job Title: Production Assistant

Work Environment: Office and production warehouse.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Production Manager.

Salary: Hourly rate is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Range: $12 to $15 an hour.

Location: San Antonio, Texas (Airport Area)

Employment Type: Full-time
