This role will focus on maintaining accurate customer billing, processing payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable functions of the accounting department Job Duties for the Accounts Receivable Specialist: Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner Process and apply incoming payments while ensuring customer accounts remain up to date Review account activity, track outstanding balances, and assist with collection efforts as needed Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and support reporting requirements Address customer questions related to billing and payment activity Assist with month-end accounting processes and account reconciliations Partner with internal departments to resolve billing concerns and improve workflow efficiency Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist: 2-5 years of accounts receivable experience required Basic MS Excel skills Comfortable working with manual and tedious processes and systems Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities Schedule : Fully on site in Linthicum, MD.
