Overview Registered Nurse - ER | Glendale, California | Start 08/17/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,727-$1,801 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Shift: 3x12-hour days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) | Hospital travel assignment This ER nursing role is with a Magnet-designated, full-service hospital serving the San Fernando Valley region. You will deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient group, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, while applying established nursing standards and processes. Key Highlights

• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)

• Setting: Hospital ER travel assignment in Glendale, CA

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for ER patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Collect relevant health data, analyze assessment findings, and identify care needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate care with the healthcare team
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; collaborate across disciplines
• Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and safe handoffs
• Document patient care and outcomes; provide health information to patients, families, and treatment teams

Requirements

• RN license in the state of practice (California) or appropriate state licensure
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACHS-approved CPR options recognized by facility policy
• ACLS and PALS required or as specified by AH policy; CPI/TEAM training also required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
• BSN degree preferred
• At least two years of recent ER or acute care experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment; strong clinical judgment and communication skills
