Stantec’s multi-disciplinary team in Duluth, MN has an opportunity for a highly motivated Civil Engineer with experience in civil engineering design and project management. Relocation assistance may apply. This position offers opportunities to work on a wide array of projects in the industrial, commercial, hospitality, energy, and public sectors. This position requires the ability to handle multiple projects, interact with clients and government agencies, and effectively work with a team. Responsibilities include project management, permitting, design and preparation of civil site, grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility plans as well as design reports. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, embraces teamwork, and has the desire to grow and develop professionally. Your Key Responsibilities Manage and lead technical work. Perform all aspects of design (grading, drainage, water, sewer, hydrology, erosion control, etc.) with an emphasis on technical and project delivery excellence. Prepare technical reports, concept designs, construction specifications, construction drawings, bidding documents, and permit applications for approvals. Participate in value engineering and prepare construction cost estimates. Participate in both private and public sector clients/projects. Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
