Responsibilities

Supervise electrical installations for commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects.

Direct and coordinate electricians and subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.

Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor project progress against deadlines.

Ensure electrical work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Identify and resolve technical and administrative issues on-site.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and other construction teams to integrate electrical systems.

Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

Maintain records of inspections, project progress, and compliance documentation.

Monitor jobsite safety and ensure adherence to required safety protocols.

Provide leadership, direction, and support to electrical crews.

Qualifications

Several years of experience in electrical construction.

Previous supervisory, foreman, or superintendent-level experience.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders in a construction environment.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

OSHA safety training is preferred.

Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred, depending on state requirements.

Valid driver's license required.

Work Environment

Primarily based on active construction sites, with some office-based planning and reporting.

Requires site visits, long hours as needed, and coordination with multiple project stakeholders.

Must follow required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
