Join Our Culinary Team: Cheeca Lodge & Spa, one of the premier resorts in the Florida Keys, is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. If you thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional food, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Food prep for our cooks and chefs
- Follow precise instructions for food preparation to ensure consistent quality.
- Set an example for less experienced cooks and assist in training when needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to meet Board of Health standards.
- Strive for perfection in food presentation and minimize waste.
- Ensure a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Perform well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school degree or GED preferred.
- Good reading, communication, and comprehension skills in English.
- Must already be eligible to work in the USA (no sponsorships available).
- No facial piercings permitted.
