Reporting to the Board of Directors The Arc Westchester is the largest agency in Westchester County supporting children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities, including individuals on the autism spectrum, and their families. Through a comprehensive continuum of services, The Arc Westchester works every day to foster independence, support personal goals, and strengthen community participation. With more than 700 dedicated employees supporting nearly 2,000 people across Westchester County and a 2026 budget of $66 million, The Arc Westchester is widely recognized for the quality of its services, its financial stewardship, and its leadership within the broader intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) field. Chief Executive Officer The Arc Westchester seeks a seasoned, mission and values‑driven executive whose leadership combines strategic judgment, emotional intelligence, and deep commitment to advancing the lives of people with developmental disabilities to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). While there is no single pathway to this role, the successful candidate will bring experience, presence, and maturity aligned with the organization’s scale, community standing, and values. The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, effectiveness, and sustainability of the organization, ensuring alignment with mission, values, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals. In close partnership with the Board and senior leadership team, the CEO sets and advances organizational strategy, oversees execution of the strategic plan, ensures high‑quality, person‑centered services across a complex service portfolio, and ensures the organization remains well positioned to respond to emerging opportunities and challenges. The role includes oversight of a complex, multi‑service organization with a significant geographic footprint, a large and diverse workforce, and a funding structure heavily reliant on public reimbursement. The salary range for this position annually is between $330,000 - $385,000 and will be commensurable with experience.
