Junior Business Development Representative

Pay Range: $41,600 to $49,920

Job Summary

All Current Electrical is looking for a motivated, entry-level Business Development Representative who's eager to learn, grind, and grow into a full sales career. This is a launchpad role — you'll start by generating leads, opening doors through outbound prospecting, and supporting our sales team with quote follow-up and opportunity management. You won't be the one taking or closing deals early on, but you'll be an active, essential part of every deal that moves through our pipeline.

From day one, you'll also handle incoming requests from our team inbox — real opportunities, real prospects — so you're contributing and learning the business immediately while you build your own book of business on the side.

**This is a growth role.** As your activity, pipeline, and product knowledge build, this position is designed to evolve into a full-time Sales role, typically within 1–3 years.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and other channels to generate new leads
- Open doors with new prospects and introduce them to All Current Electrical's products and services
- Manage and respond to incoming requests from the team inbox
- Support the sales team with quote follow-up and moving opportunities toward close
- Research prospects and accounts to prioritize outreach and personalize messaging
- Use AI tools to work smarter — researching accounts, drafting outreach, and learning product details faster
- Track activity and pipeline progress in the CRM
- Build product knowledge over time to prepare for a transition into a closing sales role

Job Requirements

- Strong verbal and written communication skills — comfortable and confident on the phone and over email
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Persistence and resilience — comfortable with outbound prospecting and handling rejection
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when tracking leads and following up on quotes
- Basic computer proficiency (email, CRM systems, spreadsheets)
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge in the electrical industry
- Coachability — open to feedback and eager to develop new skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
