Nestled between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, just 15 minutes north of Santa Barbara, El Capitan Canyon offers a one-of-a-kind glamping and outdoor hospitality experience. As Front Office Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring seamless guest arrivals, exceptional service, and strong operational performance while inspiring a team committed to hospitality excellence.

What you'll do

As Front Office Supervisor, you will oversee Front Desk and Reservations operations while helping lead a culture of service, teamwork, and accountability.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and support Front Desk and Reservations team members to deliver outstanding guest service.
• Create memorable guest experiences through personalized interactions and proactive problem-solving.
• Coach, train, and develop team members while supporting performance management and employment practices.
• Respond to guest concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor staffing levels, labor costs, and departmental expenses while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Evaluate and support revenue-driving initiatives to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
• Recommend operational improvements that enhance service, productivity, and profitability.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support resort operations.

What we're looking for

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of progressive hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or related lodging environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as business demands require.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Opera Cloud.
• Familiarity with guest engagement platforms and PMS-integrated AI tools, including AKIA.
• Experience serving as Manager on Duty or comparable leadership role.
