System Safety/Human System Integration (HSI) Department is seeking a Section Lead, Senior Manager to add to our team. As an on-site Section Lead you will guide employees within their career experience at Raytheon, as well as taking on responsibility for growing into and taking ownership of a technical discipline as a subject matter expert, developing and reviewing effective proposals, estimating on-going costs, and ensuring best practices are executed within all programs.

This is an onsite role and will be located onsite in Tewksbury, MA.

\n

\n

What You Will Do:

\n

\n
• \n

  Responsible for leading up to approximately 10-20 team members on average in various facets of design through sustainment of products for System Safety Engineering.

\n
• \n

  Employee performance development and assessment

\n
• \n

  Employee growth, productivity improvement, and recognition

\n
• \n

  Personnel issue resolution

\n
• \n

  Ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures

\n
• \n

  Ensuring all personnel are properly prepared and trained for the scope of their tasks and leveraging best practices across all programs

\n
• \n

  Reviewing system safety work products for completeness and quality

\n
• \n

  Preparing and reviewing system safety bids

\n
• \n

  Mentoring junior engineers

\n

\n

\n

Qualifications You Must Have:

\n

\n
• \n

  Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 10 years of relevant experience

\n
• \n

  Minimum of 7 years experience in system safety

\n
• \n

  Experience in proposals, captures, and/or Estimates at Completion (EAC)

\n

\n

\n

Qualifications We Prefer:

  Ability to motivate team members by providing an open environment conducive for each employee to reach his/her full potential

• \n

  Experience across the entire product life cycle including capture, development, production, and sustainment

\n
• \n

  Familiarity with management of program support, subcontractor oversight, and customer relationships.

  Experience across the entire product life cycle including capture, development, production, and sustainment

• \n

  Raytheon EV certification and CORE qualification

\n
• \n

  Experience with the Raytheon hiring process

\n
• \n

  Ability to obtain and maintain special program access clearances

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.\n
