Custom Filters Direct 1414 Susquehanna Avenue, Berwick, PA Custom Filters Direct is seeking a dependable, organized Administrative Assistant to support the Plant Manager and day-to-day operations at our Berwick manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable making phone calls, coordinating schedules, communicating with vendors, obtaining quotes, and helping keep plant-related tasks organized and moving forward. Schedule & Pay Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Starting pay: $19.00/hour Full-time, onsite position Weekly pay $50 weekly attendance bonus for employees who do not miss scheduled time Training may be required at our Bloomsburg facility located at 20 Union Lane, Bloomsburg, PA. Primary Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager. Make phone calls to vendors, contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Request quotes for repairs, materials, equipment, services, and other plant needs. Schedule service appointments, contractor visits, deliveries, and meetings. Follow up on quotes, orders, appointments, and outstanding requests. Maintain schedules, reminders, and organized records. Prepare emails, spreadsheets, documents, and basic reports. Assist with ordering office, maintenance, and operational supplies. Communicate with employees, vendors, and other departments. Help coordinate plant projects and day-to-day operational needs. Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous administrative assistant, office, or operations support experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable making professional phone calls and speaking with vendors. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and spreadsheets. Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on open items. Strong attention to detail. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and able to take ownership of tasks. If the Plant Manager needs a contractor contacted, pricing gathered, an appointment scheduled, or information followed up on, this person should be comfortable handling it from start to finish.
