Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Chicago, IL. The Relationship Manager will maintain and grow a portfolio of business clients by serving as a primary point of contact for payment technology and software solutions. In this role, the individual will regularly meet with clients to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and support onboarding and implementation of Global Payments products. The position includes monitoring account performance, resolving issues, and collaborating with internal teams such as sales, product, and customer support to ensure a high-quality client experience. The Relationship Manager will also identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, prepare account reviews and reports, and contribute feedback to improve services and processes. Qualifications Proven relationship management or account management experience in financial services, payments, SaaS, or related B2B environments. Strong client-facing skills, including consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Ability to analyze client data and payment trends to identify opportunities, risks, and recommended actions. Solid organizational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines. Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Comfort working with CRM tools and basic office productivity software; familiarity with payment technologies or merchant services is an advantage. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
