Location 201 W KENYON RD,Champaign, IL, 61820-7892,United States Base Pay $32,592.00 - $43,999.00 / Year Employee Type Full-Time Champaign-Urbana Public Health District Intake Specialist The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) is seeking a full-time (37.5-hour a week) Intake Specialist for the Maternal Child & Health Division. Responsibilities include: Verifying program eligibility and function in clinic flow by initiating client visits. Assisting with WIC applications, benefit troubleshooting, client scheduling and WIC card issuance. Previous electronic medical records (EMR) experience is highly desirable Requirements: High school diploma, or GED equivalent, One (1) year of experience in a customer service environment Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent phone etiquette, customer service, data entry, organizational, and communication skills Bilingual Spanish and/or French highly desirable CUPHD provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes: CUPHD offers qualified bilingual employees anadditional$3.00 per hour, upon approval.
